Costco returns??

I'm just curious when returning something at Costco if they're going to ask to see my membership card or if they just take the receipt and refund the purchase price?

You could always call them and ask. Whenever my wife takes things back she doesn't even show a receipt, they just scan her card and they can see all of her purchases. The one thing about them is that they have a great return policy

You need to bring the membership card it was purchased under to do a quick return. If you don't have it, call your local Costco and ask as they may special return policies this time of year.

Your purchases are usually linked on to your Costco Membership so as long as you have your membership you should be good.

I never did a return but my parents say you need to bring your membership and the card you used to purchase.

The staff have some discretion. Membership card works, but they've also refunded on an entirely different payment method (on purpose by staff - not by accident) without any issues.
