NEVER give bank information by email. Snail mail cheque what to look for.

The original claim form said payment would be by e-transfer. I saved a copy of my claim form that I just looked at and and that is what it states. However, I called before submitting and they said that after submitting to call them and let them know I wanted payment by cheque, which is what i did.

There is contact info on the site - perhaps you can call and ask to receive the payment by cheque instead. HTH. Good luck and let us know what happens
