And since I'm always looking for deals on school supplies, I decided to check out Walmart. I bought:

    4 x Sharpie Extreme 2-pack Markers @ $1.00 each - 4 x $1.00 coupons (tear-pad) = FREE (just paid tax)

    20 x Scotch brand children's scissors @ $ .50 each = $10.00

    and this one:

    20 x boxes of Crayola 8 count Collector's Edition Crayons @ . . . are you ready? . . . 2 cents each = $ .40

only did a small amount of shopping at Shoppers. Was hoping to hit 20x points wus $50 but came in too low OR didn't work with the seniors discount (it did say can't be combined with other offers... base points were 570) If anyone knows from experience, I would appreciate input

Best savings was milk at Shoppers with seniors discount. 2x milk 4.49- .90 each = 3.59 for 4 litres of milk so saved $1.80 plus .25 cent cashback on Eclipsa= $2.05 saved

hoping to get out to pm smart pasta tomorrow at Frescho for an additional .01 cent savings ontop of Caddle rebate

The seniors discount day is only on Thursdays in Ontario. Not sure what day it is for Quebec pharmaprix stores.
I'd suggest getting your Dad to pay for regular priced items on seniors day i.e. getting the discount
Seniors discounts don't apply to sale items. I guess you'd have to weigh out the discount versus the points.

    I bought:

    18 x variety of bags of Cracker Barrel Shreds @ $5.98 each = $107.64

    used 9 x $3.00 WUB2 Cracker Barrel Shreds or Natural Slices coupon (tear-pad) = $27.00

    earned 52,500 in-store points = $52.50 value

earned 21,000 digital points (600/$3.00 Cracker Barrel Shreds) = $21.00 value

$107.64 - $27.00 (coupons) - $52.50 (in-store points value) - $21.00 (digital points value) = $7.14 total for 18 bags of Cracker Barrel Shredded Cheese! That's $ .40 per package! (The regular price for one bag is normally $6.98!)

Gotta love when sale prices, coupons and points offers all come together for an amazing deal!
Great shop @lotsasavings I also plan on taking advantage on this deal but plan to buy the block and cheese slices

Thanks. They had the cold display filled with these deli chickens and a sign, so no one would miss it. Told my favourite cashier and she took her break to go shopping for chicken

They have to manually punch in that you are a senior, so if I know I will get more points from a personal offer etc, I ask them not to put in that I’m a senior.

good deal on the cheese, I don’t know if you have an IGA, but you could have price matched them from IGA $3.99 and got an even better deal, for anyone else who is planning on doing this!

    RCSS

We did two rounds of the following

    4 x Cracker barrel cheese slices 15.92 (3.98 each) - 6.00 (tearpad coupon) - 7.50 (7500 in store pts) = 2.42 (total for all four packages)
