2020 Out of the Cold Hamilton Covid Edition

Due to the continuing pandemic, the program has trimmed down to only three afternoons per week of takeout meals, without dining room or bathroom access, during this season. Here's the schedule and location list:

I don't see a season end date (it usually ends at the end of March) but I think it will depend on the City's Covid level status. Right now, Hamilton is in the Red Control category.

2021 Edition-Curbside pickup of meals begins on November 1, 2021 (program seems to be starting later each year).

A Waterdown church will be participating weekly in this year's Out of the Cold program-a first!

Due to the pandemic, what would normally be a sit-down dinner will now be a take-away service. People may come and will be given a healthy hot meal, soup and fruit to go. The program launches on Nov. 3 and will run every Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the church, located at 80 Mill St. N., until late March. All meals will be free and the volunteers will keep a weekly tally of how many were served.

This year's program is mostly in downtown Hamilton for Mon-Thurs and Saturday. Immanuel Church on Mohawk Rd W is the only Mountain location and it's serving food on Monday afternoons. Times vary by location.

Except the Waterdown location-it's offering a hot meal take-out on Wed.
