Mom thought she just had a meal there last week but it was at an adjoining eatery at that plaza. Sibling said he said he saw a dumpster in front of the restaurant when he was in the area recently.

Ancaster-Sally Beauty Outlet at Trinity-Wilson Commons is now vacant.
The frame of the new Giant Tiger store is up and construction is underway for that July store opening. Let's hope that date sticks!

Hamilton-CF Lime Ridge will get an Ever New Melbourne clothing store (closest store is in Mississauga's Square One Shopping Centre otherwise).

Hamilton-Walmart at County Fair Plaza, Mohawk Rd E @Upper Sherman Ave is closing. Upper James Walmart is getting upgraded.

The Upper James Superstore was a new build not so many years ago but there's plenty of pavement to build on at that location.

Closed/sign removed? Ancaster Meadowlands-John Savidis Lean & Fit. Noticed the absence of signage above the darkened doors and windows last Friday as my bus passed the plaza. Website/Facebook pages showed activity in late March. Online classes.

Have you checked The Beat Goes On (Upper James) for the dvds they are seeking for inventory? I recall a post last month on Twitter about the Hamilton store indicating it was keen on dvds (did not say which kinds but whenever I look for foreign dvds, I never find the Space Battleship Yamato live action version of the anime movie listed).

Hamilton-closing-Disney Store in Lime Ridge mall along with other Cdn and US bricks and mortar shops closing by summer.
Make certain to use up any gift cards at the stores before they close(maybe call your local store and see if you can shop over the phone for gifts or desired things your family wants)! I understand the US Disney online store does not tend to offer Cdn customers any deals similar to US customers. But supposedly online, there will be more special merchandise, if you have the US$ to buy it and ship across the US-Canada border.
