Jockey underwear and tank shirts can line dry or go into dryer. I am airdrying my Elita cami with shelf bra only having learned a bitter lesson when the bra elastic rumpled during first dryer event. Sadly that cami fabric was a better fabric than the current version I have in cami 2-always air-dry your finer or hard to find lingerie! Pandemic shopping lesson, for sure!
I'd rather have the cami half-dry by air than risk a dryer run ever again."This is the Way." The Mandalorian

Glad to read that renovations got done but tons of wet noodles to a tradesperson who made too much mess. Hope you took photos and will share with survey management and neighbours. Any word on outdoor stair updates to make the stairs safer?
*Saw your other posts regarding the repair guy note actually being a tradesperson-I'd definitely consider giving your insurance company a call to see if you'd have to hire a legit person to fix issues just to make sure your policy is kept and you resolve potential liability/future home repair issues. Could insurance company pursue mgmt to hire a proper person or to reimburse you if you had to get your own contractor? You and your neighbours might have grounds for a lawsuit if everyone's home insurance policies or mortgages are compromised by the shoddy work.Last edited by Ciel21; Tue, Jun 7th, 2022 at 04:41 PM.

I really love the cooler days but the humidity came back after today's afternoon rains. Grateful I had some bus fares loaded on Presto card on the weekend-I had some travel plans yesterday but as weather looked dicey early in morning, I cancelled plans.
I was at Giant Tiger on Sunday and found the raspberry Pure Leaf Iced Teas 1.75L bottle for $3.97 (50 cents more at Longo's) but it rang up at $3.47. Digital flyer does not list item so score on the savings! I have been enjoying the beverage for days.
@cath007 asked about holiday or travel plans--I'm trying to get Mom to visit the CAA store and get some free maps. Today we were watching Youtube videos of St Pierre and Miquelon and it's fun to know Cdns only need photo ID (not a passport) to enter the islands, as they are French territories! Actually, I'm hoping my brother and one of his motorcycle friends go to Eastern Canada on their time off (currently both of them are on 5th week of layoff-too long for me...)
Happened to learn of someone's upcoming wedding next month and I'm keen to look for a gift registry. Not sure why my parent did not get an invitation but the choir will be singing at the event, as the e-mail came today via Bro's account. Mom had intended to visit the Bay today (Senior's Day) but she continues to have upper back stiffness from last week and won't go anywhere unless Bro drives (and he won't). So a dress is needed and I have ideas...found out Mom would rather sew something (good luck unless she orders fabric online) than spend $XXX on a readymade outfit. I'm thinking a shirtdress style in muted tone-on-tone silk/linen blend, nothing flashy.
The Cdn Tire flyer has a $99.99 Blu Smartphone listed. That's in the price range I'm keen to find a phone in-just need to learn what ports etc come with phone. I have no idea if I'd chase a cellphone number(not keen on a monthly plan or whatnot plus Google Gmail would want a phone number for GMail access)-just want to be able to use wi-fi at plaza to enter contests and do quick flyer lookups. It’s been ages since I checked in or it feels like it. We hosted a surprise dinner party Saturday night for my SIL and she really was surprised. Then Sunday morning they started the journey to Nova Scotia. There were a few tears but it’s only 2 months until we head out there. Then it will be tough because I doubt they will come back to Ontario for Christmas. This week is insanely busy for work in fact the whole month of June is madness. Every day I breathe a sigh of relief when it’s over.

Good Morning and Happy Hump day! The sun is shining bright here this morning!
Have a busy work day and hope to get lots done around the house today as well. I have a list!
Starting with the kitchen. It needs some love. Then the fridge will get a good clean out so we know what we have to use up.
Have a wonderful day!

Yes, it's a bright day here in Ancaster too, though Mr. Wind was a refrigerator before 8:30am. Have some laundry line-drying while the weather is cooperating. More rain coming along today and tomorrow (I'll hunker down at home). Touch of humidity is topping off the forecast for the daytime.
On my walk home last night, I fell for the Lotto Max pull and bought a ticket. Only 2 digits matched the $70M jackpot numbers. My friend used the OLG app to scan my ticket-not a winner. I'll still check the MaxMillions digits online to see how close or far my three sets of digits were to the winning numbers. There's a place in Newfoundland that needs a car-loading ramp for the French ferries serving St. Pierre & Miquelon and the port in NFLD so tourists can bring their cars-that's where my spare jackpot millions would go after I got a few things sorted out for myself and a few close people!
Since Shoppers has Twinings tea on sale for $3.99, I checked for decaf English Breakfast box. ONly found a variety tea box containing reg English Breakfast and skipped it, as I don't like 2 of the 4 teas in the box.
Have to do a quick shop at Walmart (will glance at the new Giant Tiger flyer for any deals to note) on my way home (preferably busing over to the store then walking). Would not mind glancing at that smartphone at Cdn Tire as the store is in the same area (reg. $129.99 but it will $30 less tomorrow). Speaking of CT/Sport Chek/Marks-they all have bonus CT money events.
CT-THurs June 10 spend $250 or more in one transaction on CT money eligible items to get 20X (Triangle Rewards) or 30X (CT Mastercard) CT money.
SPorts Chek and Marks have 20x/30x bonus CT money days on Thurs June 10 and Fri June 11. Thought to post here for the members who have Father's Day shopping in mind at the stores or yardwork/weekend supply runs to do soon.
Need to do some vacuuming today and ironing of bedding. Chores---always on the go."This is the Way." The Mandalorian

I just popped into RCSS quick (to buy $50 BP GC and get 10,000 PC pts since this is where us girls like to go for dinner for girls night)
Big bunker full of No Name wieners....... $7.19!!!! OMG! I rarely bought those for my kids growing up but they are a camping trip must have to roast on the fire.
I feel bad for the people thinking this is a cheap meal. It may have been at one time but not anymore
Load of laundry washed and hung to dry. I even stripped down everything I was wearing and tossed in the washer and then had a shower lol.Last edited by Frugalbigmama; Wed, Jun 8th, 2022 at 03:26 PM.

@Frugalbigmama I had the same reaction when my kids asked for hot dogs last week for the 1st time in at least 5 yrs. I remember when they were dirt cheap with coupons.
DH just told me California is paying rice farmers to not grow as much rice because of the drought and 70% of rice consumed in North America come from there so I can only imagine how much that will impact price.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Good day! Gloomy damp day here today.
Start vacation at 4 today so trying to buzz though everything on my desk today.
Had flight booked to go away but have decided that not feeling like dealing with pre-covid testing and airport delays yet so not going away.
Did book one night away at casino to enjoy hot tub/pool and dining out (all free with comps) And booked the next night for my sister and BIL to enjoy a night away. I will go to their place and take over kid/puppy duties. Will pick my niece up after school and watch her over night and then take her to school in the morning.
Getting the house in order tonight and then getting some outside stuff done tomorrow (hopefully if it doesn't rain!) and then the weekend can be enjoyed!
Groceries- Some good sale prices on fresh stuff starting today. Will wait and get groceries on Tuesday.
Have a wonderful day everyone!
