Just a bit of a vent really. Since it was so nice yesterday we decided to take C to the park for his first experience with the baby swings. The park behind our house is small and only has 2 swings, one baby and one regular. When we got there there was a girl already in the baby swing and her mom was on the regular swing beside her. I figured no problem we could find something else to do while we waited for them to finish.
It was almost 45 minutes after we got there that they finally moved on to another activity. By that time we were seriously considering just going home since he was getting tired and cranky and there are only so many ways to entertain a 10 month old with playground equipment. We did spend 10 minutes on the swings before we left and he loved them.
UGH, if you want to use the swings for at least 45 minutes at a time then go buy your own stupid swing set. Learn to share. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Well it was a public park afterall, and while I understand your frustration, would it have not been easier for you to approach this other lady and nicely ask if you your child could have a turn on the swings?
People cannot read minds and unless we let them know,in a polite way,the things that bother us,they will continue to do them, despite how we feelDog's don't care if you are rich or poor, smart or dumb, just give them your heart and they will give you theirs
