We have our first heat warning of the summer (for the next couple of days) It rains almost every day! Since I planted my flowers & veg back in June I've only had to water everything twice. It cools off brilliantly at night!

An extended period of very warm and humid weather is expected.

Time span: continuing through Monday or Tuesday.

Maximum daytime temperatures: 28 to 30 degrees Celsius (Humidex 34 to 38). Cooler along parts of the coast. Temporary relief may also occur during scattered afternoon showers.

Minimum nighttime temperatures: 16 to 18 degrees Celsius.

Locations: central, northeastern and parts of eastern Newfoundland.

Remarks: The highest temperature and humidex values are expected to occur over interior locations, with varying conditions near the coast depending on wind direction.

We are under a thick blanket of smoke this morning from the wildfires burning in Central NL, so sad. Its super windy here today too but hopefully "they" can get this under control (I'm hours away from this event and in no danger)

Currently 18 degres celcius late evening tomorrow 28 degres in QC but the nights are cold like 11-13 degres... perfect to sleep with windows open for a fresh breeze!!!

Hi @cath007 ! I'm doing good, thanks for checking! Its been a busy summer, still getting over Covid which I ended up with a couple of weeks ago. It sure wasn't much fun!!! NL is getting the tail end of Hurricane Earl this weekend, although its just the regular rain/wind event in my area. Hope you are doing well!
