Starting the day off right .....is what I would like to type, however my sciatic pain has once again sidled in next to my arse and refuses to move over!
The cause may be from moving a few items out of the garage to get to other items ( outdoor Christmas lights and cords ). I know it was not my best decision but the milder weather urged me on to get at least a few strings of lights up.
Thrilled when the remote worked to make the magic happen from inside the house....not sure why I get such a thrill when the lights click on at my touch. The theme out front?
    Bwahaha!!
" Nostalgic chaos " as I just plug all my older sets into each other, ( despite the colour of the bulbs ) then drape/wrap this chorus line around unsuspecting branches/trees.

So unlike my neighbour ( I am jealous! ) who installs his ON THE ROOF! with precision. Straight lines, all bulbs the same colour. Tbh, I don't think Santa cares either way.
Twinkling lights lift spirits and once that white stuff blankets the lawns, we'll appreciate them all the more.
    Enjoy your Tuesday all!

What a dreadful dreary rainy day....ugh . I was pondering an outing but decided not to risk my mood switching from almost pleasant to sourpuss.
Enjoy the day if you have a supply of sunshine in your heart !

    Home sweet home!!

What a fun few day with my Daughter in Thunder Bay!!

We stayed at her BFF’s home with her two sweet teens and of course, her Hubby, our tattoo artist who, over morning coffee, promised me he won’t hurt me at all! Lol! What a wonderful man! And what an artist…portrait sketches, his sculptures made on found antlers (they have a couple hundred acres of land to forage in).
Not sure what I expected in the way of a tattoo “parlour”, lol, but it was big, bright, and his oun studio looked like any efficient and sterile doctor’s office! I was very brave, it hurt very little, took about a half hour, and done!! We have our matching bunnies!

Lunch the next day with all my family, but unfortunately my DD couldn’t make it…the weather was absolutely frightful, high winds, blowing falling snow and with her staying so far into the outskirts, (I stayed with a cousin the next two nights), the unpaved icy roads would have been dangerous for her to drive in the tiny Kia rental that seemed to have qualified as a mid-size car! If she had her Pilot, no problem but everyone agreed that it was best she stay put. It was a lovely, joyful, tearful, reunion.

however, NEVER will I fly Bearskin ( I call it BearScare) airlines again!! Flying home, an hour flight to the Sault, we found ourselves back in ThunderBay! Engine problem! DD was sitting right behind the pilots, could have tapped his shoulder and presses console buttons, lol….and the huge drop we experienced was 300 feet!! Lots of tossing, swinging, thank heavens I took a non drowsy gravol! Engine trouble? No kidding, by the noises it was making! I thought, “We’re going down!” Luckily another plane was waiting…one more treck through ankle deep snow to board that 20 passenger “crop duster”, to the Sault, one drop off, one on, then 45min home! An exciting end to, as my DD called it, “My 73 year old adventure.”!

Now on to our Christmas trip with NO BearScare plane in sight!

    Back to normal is wonderful!
