Today was a bit of a mishmash. I had a bit of the extra chickpea smash that I made for Dh this morning, my tea, vitamins and 2 rice cakes with peanut butter drizzled with chocolate and a light sprinkle of salt.

i've always like international delight coffee creamers and this year they have peppermint mocha (this is new to me); so now i make myself a cup with espresso in the morning - much tastier and cheaper than my usual go to mcd peppermint mocha. I bought 2 from mcd this month and they all tasted like they were watered down - very disappointed.

Still sticking to the raw rolled oats with hemp, chai seeds, banana, plant milk but eased up on the flax. That is potent stuff. I already get a great amount of fibre so gotta be careful lol.

It’s still a struggle since I hate rolled oats but I know it’s good for me so I do it.

I struggle with Breakfast and I skip it often but that needs to stop.

This morning I made myself French Toast and topped with Blueberries, Blackberries and Raspberries.

Checking on the " is it still o.k. to eat " container of leftover turkey/rice soup after coming back home from my 8 a.m. blood work appt, I did both the smell and taste test and concluded it tasted just fine to eat. So soup for breakfast it was! Toasted up 2 rustic heavy slices of rye to go with. Zonked out right after eating and woke up at 3 p.m. !! What the heck was in that soup that sedated me?

It’s the Tryptophan @walkonby . When I used to eat meat sometimes I’d order the full turkey dinner so I could sleep well that night
