crazy day here....no food until 1:20 p.m. ??? I had an appointment at 11:00 a.m. and figured I'd eat a nice breakfast upon returning. That plan never panned out as I sauntered through Metro reading snack labels and ingredients of various " healthy " items. Ended up with 4 small bags. I hid them all from the guys not because I'm afraid they will devour them but because they will make all kinds of jokes about the ingredients.

Mmmm, remember those bags of various " healthy " snacks I bought? I've discovered a great way to have some each day! They cost me big in calories and other stuff, so at breakfast I add just 5 measly grams each of the Coconut Cluster and the Spirulina/Banana one to my small serving of Greek yogurt. Exactly like having granola in it, a nice natural sweetness.

It was brunch by the time I returned from FB this morning, so I heated up leftover liver and onions from last night's dinner. Steamed green beans and a small bowl of Greek yogurt with diced fruit. A LARGE coffee, because Mmmmm.

Clocked in my breakfast calorie plate this morning at a respectable 376 ! That's down some from my usual 400+ breakfast. I still eat a variety from the healthy categories but pay special attention to foods that keep me full ( protein ). That sure helps me to prolong the lunch meal, and the others that follow. Nothing quite as stressful as knowing all my calories are used up and it's only 5:30 p.m. ! Panic ensues. lol

dropped my youngest and a large watermelon I got at RCCS for $6.74 at my parents this morning.
saw 2 out of a pack of 4 jumbo chocolate croissants on mom's kitchen counter so i asked for one to take to work. Now i'm enjoying it with my coffee. Yum!
of course she also tried to feed me steamed rice rolls (a dim sum dish), rice and pork. I had to decline. It is so nice to still have my mom with us. She recently celebrated her 67th birthday.

Wasn't feeling like a full on breakfast today, just did 1 boiled egg sliced into a Lavash Mini pita, each half with a swipe of Mayo inside. 1/3 cup of lactose free 0% fat Greek yogurt with berries. Always my large ( 16 oz ) mug of coffee, that I won't skip....lol

No egg today. Switched the protein up with hummus on 2 Ryvita crackers and topping with thin pineapple and strawberry slices. Dish of plain Greek yogurt with berries and my java!

a new day to restart and forget that I ate a couple of no-no's ( who's caloric makeup will remain unspoken! ) last night. Just finished eating my totally balanced, nutritionally sound brekkie. Coffee followed. Feeling renewed again!

Had all my ducks in a row this morning. 30 gram servings each of Strawberries, Blueberries and Raspberries, a Mini Lavash Pita cut in 2 with a swipe of mayo inside and half a hard boiled egg shoved into each half. Large coffee, with cream.
