Now that the game has ended with Ottawa winning 6 - 1 against Montreal, i am truly sorry that the Habs have lost and are no longer in the playoffs.
They have always been my second most favourite team, after the Maple Leafs and I had hoped that they would do better than they did.
So many of their players are graduates from the Hamilton Bulldogs and I have followed them religiously over the past years.
Sorry to see them eliminated in spite of my good natured jibes this year.
Best of luck to them next year.
I also hope that the Leafs can come back and keep the series alive against Boston, but the future seems very bleak for them as well.
Here's hoping for a positive outcome tomorrow in Boston.
It will not be easy for Toronto on Friday.
Winning three of the next four games seems to be an almost impossible task, but we can always hope.
Reality is what it is and only time will reveal the truth of who the best team is.
Just my personal observations, but there is still hope.
