The Yankees “have tried” to join the discussion, tweets Joel Sherman of the New York Post, but it’s not clear they’re willing to include as much in the way of top prospects. The Giants are “pessimistic” of getting something done, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports tweets. Meanwhile, the Dodgers have no plans of including Alex Wood — if they acquire him — in deals to any other teams, Jayson Stark of ESPN.com tweets.

    I guess that we wil all just have to wait and see what happens. With the acquisition of Tulowitzki, wouldn't this be a huge feather in the cap for Anthopolouis.

    Interesting for speculation though.

    This is confirmed now!! DAVID PRICE is a JAY!! Daniel Norris is one of the players going to Detroit. This is the right pitcher to get us in the playoffs.

    Well doesn't this change the landscape of the wild card chase?? With a wack of games still to be played against the Yanks & Price's Leadership at the top of the rotation the Yanks better keep an eye in the rear view mirror!!

    I am glad the Jays did not go after Latos or Samardzija as their number one choices! Now I could see them go after Kimbrel and Ross and our pitching is done! Even trade Hutcheson in that move, but we would have a solid rotation if they get Ross as well! 13 games against Yankees, they got to be worried now!

    Well I guess that I was off base predicting that it would be Samardzjia that Blue Jays would go after,
