Saunders done for the year
Toronto Blue Jays Manager John Gibbons confirmed that Michael Saunders (knee) has been ruled out for the season. Gibbons also said that Devon Travis (shoulder) isn't progressing as hoped.

Well it certainly wasn't RA Dickeys night tonight giving up 5 runs in his 4 innings and 3 batters in the 5th pitched and leaving the game trailing 5-3.
Liam Hendriks did a great job in the 5th inning preventing any further damage.
Blue Jays fans have to hope that they can come back since the Yankees and Twins are tied 1 - 1 in the 6th inning.
Jays really can't afford to go 2 games down to the Yankees with the Yankees having their next 8 games at home while the Jays are on the road for the next 7 games after tonight.Last edited by zfurman; Tue, Aug 18th, 2015 at 09:16 PM.

Well I gues you must have all been praying for a come back and it happened in the top of the 6th.
Pitching change for Philly and Colabello drives in a run on a single . Philly 5, Toronto 4
After another single Donaldson hits a 3 run home run and the Jays take the lead 7 -5
Then, Encarnacion hits a solo home run to make it Jays 8, Philly 5.
Keep it going Jays - We need this win!!!!!
Just an update on other games of interest to Jays fans Twins 3 Yankees 1 in the top of the 7th

THe bullpen was huge again tonight - Henricks, Cecil, Hawkins, Sanchez and Osuna were outstanding.
Nice come back win for the Jays tonight. 5 inniongs out of the bullpen tonight and no runs allowed. AWESOME!!!

Other games of interest Mets beat the Orioles 5-3
Yankees beat the Twins 8-4
