I tend to agree with you. I understood game two of the the double hitter, but I think they should have made a statement yesterday - finish off Baltimore with an explanation point. They still have another goal to shoot for, finish 1st in the A.L. Instead, they gave K.C. the opportunity to gain ground, and seemed indifferent. Now they've screwed up the starting rotation too.
If the Jays win two of three in Tampa Bay, Jays will still win the AL championship.
Even though they are currently tied with KC, they still have the tie breaker since they won the series with KC 4-3
Toronto has 3 games left in the regular season as does KC.
Although I don't agree with resting all the regulars yesterday, it may prove to be a blessing giving them an extra days rest to concentrate on the task at hand.
GO JAYS GO !!!!!:excited:
I agree. We all have our opinions about what was done after the Blue Jays clinched and in my case I wasn't putting down Gibby or the organization for what they did, I was just voicing my opinion. I was really let down by Gibby's remarks on doing what he did! I have always been a Gibby supporter and still am although his remark was uncalled for :(
"My job is to take care of these guys. Yes, we'd love to win it but I've got to do what's best for these guys -- not what some bozo out there in fantasy land thinks."

Interested in the status of Troy Tulowitzki
Where is he and what is he doing ?
Will he rejoin the Jays prior to the playoffs?
Tulowitzki expected to play this evening.
He has missed 18 games but played a simulated game today with Price pitching.
Apparently hit a home run and had a number of doubles and singles.
3 Games on the East Coast have been postponed due to inclement weather - Yankees @ Baltimore, Marlins @ Phillies and Nationals @ Mets.
This sets up double headers in the final week of the season.
