Hockey is hockey complete with all those great big bruisers,
There will always be winners & there will also be losers,
Some teams seem to be lacking the assemblance of clout,
Then there are some who can never win a simple shoot-out,
The days of big Bobby Clobber & when goons entertained with their antics,
Is there an applicable theory here or is it about semantics?
The home town team is lackluster & this story gets so repetitive,
What is it going to take for these guys to play hockey that is competitive?

Very sad news out of St. George Ontario today that Evan Leversage passed away today from brain cancer.
He was only seven years old.
Knowing that he did not have much time left, the town of St George (30 km west of Hamilton) held their Santa Clause parade in his honour on October 21st so that he could enjoy it.
A very nice gesture , but very sad story none the less based on the developments today.
RIP Evan.
Not sure if anyone heard, but the agent for David Price spoke on MLB today and stated he and David were quite surprised that the Jays did not even make an offer to them. The agent said David really wanted to go back to Toronto. So they were even more surprised that an offer was not even made. As Zman stated before the new management has raised our ticket prices and is relying on what happend last year as justification for the rise, but the product is less than what we had at the end of the year! Price gone and so is Navarro, and lest we not forget, the reason for Estrada's success as he has told reporters on numberous occassion was Navarro. He would put down an sign and all Estrada had to do was pitch the ball. If our offence can score 5 to 6 runs a game we are OK, but we know that will not be the case everyday! The new regime will be concentrating on building our farm system, not our big club and that to me is worrisome! I hope I am wrong, but when the guy who was our first legit number 1 starter since Halliday, does not even get tendered an offer, something is really wrong!
