Wow, this is the understatement of the year! Heatley, kills his teammate, admits he was drinking before driving and gets 3 years probabtion! Rob Ramage at least served jail time. Plaxico Burris, who had a loaded gun in his pants and did not shoot at anyone or kill anyone served time in jail as well.
Healey has been babied too much and really should have been punished for his crimes. Why is he getting millions when his teammate is dead! If this was you or I, we would be behind bars even today. You tell me the justification in that. He should have no career, like any of us for getting behind the wheel while intoxicated and killing someone.

Sorry for the rant, but Heatley is a true scumbag, just look at the way he wanted out of Ottawa. Who is he to demand anything? Oh yeah, a murderer can get his demands met!

TOTALY AGREE,although the deceased passenger's parents publically forgave him and pleaded with courts for Heatley not to get jail time.
He had gall to treat Ottawa the way he did,even though i despise the senators, they didn't desrve that crap from him. They got him out of a whirlwind of a situation in Atlanta and gave him a chance to start over...and new pavement for him to race his quarter million dollar ferrari on. Eff him!
