Well, this is not an isolated incident. They have skipped the tuesday trivia in the past once or twice if I recall. Not much we can do.

I kinda expect theses guys are going to phase out the points system and have contests only.. it seems to be the way with most stations now!!!! Too much work for them....

Is that the reason?... the work involved? or is it that there are "cheaters" who set up multiple accounts to increase their odds?

Well we have 2 acct's mine at home and hubbies at work (he just collects points at night)...I don't see a problem with that.. but points systems require too many prizes and that would be the factor.... Doing better campains is the way to go... just a thought

The Corus network is getting rid of their points system, but it was contracted out to a US service that did a lousy job. The MM (multiple markets) contests meant that each radio station had very few winners. And those that did win often received a cheque in American funds for the American value of the prize. I can understand Corus getting rid of the points in favour of local contests and more winners. I like the local contests and points systems and hope the other stations stick with them. If it doesn't work, fix it. If it works leave it alone.
