Personally, I believe that this was a fiscally responsibly corporate decision for the Jays.

Price for all he brought to the Jays for a couple of months was not worth this type of an investment for the future and the Jays history indicates that they would never agree to a seven year contract.

Good on the Jays, good on David Price and we will have to see how this signing will work out for the Red Sox.

Personally, I am not so sure that it will all be roses for them in the future.

I'm really glad the Jays passed on Price. Too expensive for a guy with zero playoff wins in eight playoff starts. $30 million a season for that is downright crazy.
