Just want to acknowledge Kimcool's generousity and kindness, she remembered my kids have skin conditions and saved the spectro cpns for me, drove all the way from south to RO today, handed me the coupies, samples and some other useful cpns. Also reminded me that LD has sale for that lotion this week. This is overwhelming and much appreciated ! Thanks for everything, Kim, especially the nice chat.

I did pop into RO LD and met my friend Jayme today, I asked her if the changes are for RO only or city wide, she said it's everywhere but it's only the price match thing change. But I said what abt the "cannot be combine with any other offer", she said that too, but only manufacturer cpns has it, the P&G can be stacked (4 cpns/trip) My heart still sank to the bottom as we can only stack P&G now, pretty much all manuf. cpns are out.
And I said 4/trip, so I walk in and out the door just to finish my shopping. She said, no, we are not going to make u do that. I said, what abt those Bxsave$, we can't price match two items. She said we will let u do that. I was thinking it would only work if u are here all the time, lots of other cashiers/mangers won't and I understand that, they have to bound by the rules.
This also means I won't have extra to donate anymore.

I looked at some of the manufacturer's coupons (even new ones) and there are still some which do not say "not valid with any other offer."
I suppose in a way we still have "some" stacking but not to the extent we had before. I've seen some great stories from our couponer friends on the east coast and I'm sure we can still manage some great finds. In the end even if we only save $1-$2 on a product, in the end that is still $1-2 in our pockets and we all know how quickly those can add up =)
Sorry just trying to be a little bit positive since I know this news also made me a bit down and I feel that sometimes it helps me to look in the bright side to make a bad situation (out of my control) a bit more pleasant to bare =)

The east has lower prices. just look at walmart the canned pasta is .57 there but here its.77. They also have bonus redemption this weekend at sdm but we dont. That helps as you can get $200 worth of stuff free.
I think we will still be saving some money just not like before.

Without a doubt =( Being from the east coast I do know how expensive things are here (had sticker shock the first time!). You are quite right though, we certainly aren't going to be saving nearly as much as we were before =(

No free hair treatment for me
but i was still happy to get the awesome shampoo and conditioner!! I dont think stacking is going to change its just the one lady at RO thats just on a little bit of a power trip and very unpleasent to others which just isnt nice /cry She says shes a stacker but I dont think she really understands how it all works maybe.. I honestly think shes just jealous of all the awesome deals and people here also, everyone is so good with stacking and she just cant make sense of it possibly!
Everyone here has always been truly awesome to me and in the end I think we all treat everyone with the same respect as well at london drugs. I look at it like how much product we help move which in turn, effects there costs and make there prices lower and with the extra coupon income I think goes towards there bottom line!!Last edited by NewbieCoupon; Wed, Apr 6th, 2011 at 10:37 PM.

I do like your attitude, shadowfox, we had it good while it lasted. For what's it worth, I am still very grateful for LD stacking experience. It brought me to a whole new level. I was very naive b4 thinking to buy something at clearance price with cpn is the cleverest. Yet not knowing someone out there had been getting all these for FREE !
Plus LD allows me to touch others' lives, those that needed it the most and that's very important to me. And to top that all, I get to know wonderful people like Jayme, her warm welcome and great smile every time is priceless.
Last but not least, our swap group, brought us more meetings together and we had so much fun !Last edited by Mission; Wed, Apr 6th, 2011 at 10:51 PM.

Thanks for the positive notes!! It is just going to be more of a challange than it used to be. There are still lots of good deals with coupons, and I know I am paying way less thanks to all the great info here!!!

After shopping this evening at LTS LD I was told out right that the store manager confirmed nothing other then "Limited of 4 per shopping trip" has changed... and that would only be on those coupons that state that out right... PMs are limited to 1, but that isn't new... you can still use the yellow instore bonus coupons, and yes as long as something on the coupon is different (including expiry date, which is new to me) we can stack...
Why oh why are stores so different? I figure just to keep us on our toes. Please vote for our summer traditions on Facebook

I went to London Drugs West today and did some stacking without a problem! They've had the limit on price matching for awhile now, along with calling other stores to see if they had the item in stock so I haven't price matched in ages - too much of a hassle.
And Kudos to KimCool! That was so nice of you to help Mission. Misson's always gone "above and beyond" with her kindness to all of us, so it's nice to see it's coming back to her.

geez, its so messed up how different each store is, I went to LTS LD on monday, stacked the l'oreal and got the free gift, went to the Beddington LD and sure enough they wouldnt allow it, So i just stuck with the shampoo and condition, which I'm totally fine with!! The supervisor (super cute youg guy) came over and explained to me that today the store manager was on the phone all day with HO trying to find out answers, he basically said that on the instore yellow coupon they state that in cannot be combined at all. Any coupon that says per purchase is ok to use because it is not specific enough.
Yeesh so confusing, each cashier is differnet I guess. Untill all the manufactures change the wording on their coupons we are ok, for the most part. We will just have to be careful and only use the right coupons, because there is nothing worse than a stack gone wrong.
