I have come to the conclusing that it does also depend on which person is working that day at customer service for the LD stacking challenges some of us are having.

But I knew once those words leave my mouth, it would start a totally fierce and inconclusive fight. Those were the times I thought of kittyboot's famous motto "pick your battle, u have to pick your battle"

Both the P&G Brandsaver and the SmartSource were in this morning's (subscription) Calgary Herald.

I also found out last weekend that the Airdrie Safeway runs an Airmiles promo every 2 weeks. If you spend $100, you get a bonus 250 Airmiles, spend $200 you get a bonus $500 Airmiles. (Having a teenage boy in the house, that $200 is just a drop in the bucket!) If you go every 2 weeks, you could earn enough points for a flight every month and a half. The promo is on this week, and needless to say I'll be taking a little trip up to Airdrie....

Last weekend our NPost had no red plum but herald did. Today the same thing once again. Herald yes 2 inserts. N post nothing. Arrggg!!!

LOL. This happened to me today! I felt terrible. I was at LD PM'ing toothpaste etc. and I wanted to PM something and I couldn't find the ad! Normally when I make my list, I write where I am PM'ing to, but for some stupid reason, I didn't for that one item only. I held up CS for 1/2 hour, she was looking through the flyers too. Of course when I got home, I found it right away.

We have to have patience for them and be nice, because they truly have so much for us....

As I was scrolling through the eflyer I noticed that there is also an instore promo buy $50 in gift cards get 25 airmiles, or buy $100 in gift cards get 50 airmiles (excludes Safeway GCs) not bad if you plan on spending money somewhere else anyways and they happen to have a gift card for that place :) I also got an email from airmiles with a coupon for a bonus 100 airmiles at Safeway when you spend $100, which you can combine with the in store promo, so if you don't get airmiles emails just log on to the website and you should be able to find the offer.

Are you sure? I think the coupon on the Airdrie flyer states that this offer can't be used in conjunction with any other Airmiles offer.

The giftcard bonus is just for certain giftcards - ITunes, Le Chateau, Samba, Spa Finder, Mark's and Perfect Choice Visa.

Thanks for the heads up on the Airmiles site - I always forget to check there!

One thing that I'm curious about with this promo is if I spend $400 in two separate transactions, will I be able to receive 1000 Airmiles. I'm going there tomorrow - I'll keep you posted!
