This week in the Sobeys flyer if you buy Oreo cookies you get $3.00 of a 4 litre jug of white milk. So basically you get the cookies for .49 cents. If you are buying on 10% Tuesday and spending at least 50 you will get the milk and cookies for $4.25 which is cheaper than the usual price on milk alone!

Is Tuesday at Sobeys 10% + 5%? I don't get the flyers but was looking online and that what I thought I saw but I'm not sure if it is store specific.

It looks like only certain stores are doing the 10% + 5%. I went back and looked at a few different locations and noticed there was fine print at the bottom. This is the list of stores:

Nice to know although my local Sobey's is not on the list. The cookies and milk deal will be really good if you get 15% off and have a coupon for cookies or milk too!

It looks like they are competing with save on foods 15% off. Maybe the competition is a good thing!

Safeway @ Southland&Macleod has a cart full of liquid laundry detergent near the back marked 50% off. There was some Tide and ABC, but mostly Sunlight. So if you have P&G or Sunlight coupons… I got a Sunlight 32 load bottle for $3.99-$2= $1.99! (It was a good day at Safeway - I also got some free deodorant from SCOP)

If you are a skier, Nakiska started selling their adult season ski pass yesterday for $199( last year was $800). I think it is this price until June 28.

Does anyone get the coupon inserts in the paper anymore? I received the P&G today in the National Post. I have not received a smartsource or the unilever inserts or a while. Are they in the Herald or the Sun? I use to get the smartsource in the National Post but have not received one for a long time.

I used to receive the P and G inserts and Redplum in the Herald and assume they still send them out but I no longer subscribe.

It may depend where you live. I only get the P & G insert in the Calgary Sun, though some people get all three inserts.

Co-op has a good deal right now - buy any 2 Villagio or Dempsters products and get a free Dempsters 12 grain bread! Just make sure the cashier scans her coupon at the till. (There were no coupons to take)
