Which companies have you emailed telling them how much you love their product and did they give you any free samples or coupons of any kind. I have tried Glade and Blistex with no luck.

Kotex: 2 X 0,75$ coupons
Aveeno: 2 X 3$ coupons, 1 X 1,50$ coupon
Playtex: 3 X 5$ coupons
Johnson and Johnson: 2 X 3$ coupons
Nature Clean: 8 X 1$ coupons

I have emailed SC Johnson about scrubbing bubbles and got a FPC upto $6, I have emailed for Vlasik pickles and got a FPC, also Welchs for a FPC for the fruit snacks, tried Blistex but didn't get anything. I have complained to Charman Bath Tissue and got a FPC in return. I love it.

I e-mailed Glade and they e-mailed back saying they are sending me a voucher for a free product.

*I emailed Pepsi because I thought their energy drink (AMP) sucked..they sent me 3 replacement coupons for 12 pack Pepsi products(I provided UPC, and batchcode)
*Had a problem with JKelloggs cereal (had a dead grey moth in the sealed package) -sent me 3 FPC (no limit) so I bought 3x clubpack(30.00)
*Had problem with Kraft and BlackDiamond cheeses in the past: Sent FPC
*Pillsbury: emailed to compliment: 2xFPC, 1x 1.00 off any Pillsbury product
*SCJohnson emailed to compliment on floor cleaner: sent me a $9.00 FPC
*Vlasics pickles to compliment: FPC for a 1lt jar of pickles
*Huggies problem with tabs not sticking: called and they sent me 2xFPC
*J&J request for new parent pack: 2xFPC(up to 40.00)
*Durex Condoms: emailed compliment and request for a sample : sent 1x3pk
~~Almost all companies whether you call with a complaint (they always replace my product as long as I provide the UPC, DateCode, and where I bought it) or email with a complaint will replace your product and often give you MORE than it is worth. With the Kelloggs, It was a 3.97 box of cereal, they sent me the 3xFPC with no limit, so I bought the warehouse packs of NutriGrain bars (9.97), Ricekrispie squares (10.97) and a large box of vanilla Rice krispies (8.97)...
I have gotten many FPC just by reading the SC posts of who you can compliment and get a FPC or samples.It has worked for me!

one thing to remember when emailing companies, please ensure that if you are complaining it is a valid complaint or complimenting, you do not overdo it. It is surprising how many companies are related. We really do not want to see a good thing go down the tubes

i emailed p&G requesting a coupon for swiffer wetjet cloths as all coupons are for the kit. They said they do not provide coupons or samples and to go to save.ca or brandsaver. Save.ca as coupons and they are for the kit only. I've emailed them twice and got same answer. They didn't even seem happy to help

Ive emailed several protein and sport suplement makers like Optima Nutrition, weilders, and others and havent gotts so much as a reply.
What do you guys do when you email them? do you sneak your adress into there somewhere?

I've found that when you have a problem with a product. Phone calls always work better then an email.

There's no secret formula to asking. Alot of times you can email directly from their web site where you fill in your address as part of the form. just be sincere in your request and if it's a complaint you should provide them with some type of purchase confirmation. As mentioned a UPC code or production number. Don't be pushy and just be sincere...as Mom always says "it doesn't hurt to ask"
