If the company policy is that they accept them, how can one store say no? I mean, it's not like Walmart's are franchised...

Well I have been on the phone half the morning and this is what I found out! New Glasgow Walmart is not longer taking computer generated coupons, I then reemed them for not posting it somewhere in the store. I called corporate office and they said each store CAN make its own decision on the the coupons when I spoke to dist. office they said most stores will be that way soon. Zellers is still taking them and supervalu are as well. This sucks sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Here in Edmonton the Walmart I frequent has signs at every cash register stating that the DO accept internet coupons. I think it is ridiculous for each store to have different policies within the same company.

My Walmart will only take printed coupons now if it's in color ink because they won't take "photocopied" coupons and those are apparently associated with being in black and white. Well I have a printer/scanner and if I want to I can make a color photo copy of the coupon so it doesn't make sense to me. I took the B&W ones one day figuring I can save on ink and they refused them because they looked photocopied *sighs*
Soon Internet coupons are going to be non exsistent everywhere. I think these establishments need to take a page from the US and offer "real" coupons like they do. If they offered more coupons (and double coupon days) I wouldn't care about Internet coupons. It would save the consumer AND the company a lot of hassle.Last edited by TaraF; Mon, Apr 20th, 2009 at 03:47 AM.

Walmart Barrie still takes printed at home (from your printer) coupons. I have checked this with the head CSM. She assured me that they do take them. I needed it verified because of the coupon class I am running and I don't want the students to have the wrong information. (plus I would want to know when I am using them anyhow!)
CentrallyCalm has sent out 28 trains!...whoo hoo! Teaching Newbie Coupon Classes! Let me know if you'd like to come to a class, in person, face to face; with real handout reference & teaching materials... it's the only class quite like it! PM for details & areas where I will teach!
