This has been bugging me for a while, and I just can't find out the answer!

A friend of mine says she gets three separate baby bonus deposits every month, and I'm only getting two. I can't figure out what the third one is, and she doesn't know what it is either, just that it's deposited on the same day as the other two.

My friend and her husband make about the same as my husband and I do, so it's not the check for the lower income families.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? If so, help a mama out!

Some provinces have a provincial supplement for low income families, I do believe they just fazed this out.

Not too sure though because the small amount I recieve for baby bonus isnt really a bonus its a joke.

it is a joke! I'm wondering if the government messed up, and put down that she's a single mom since her and her fiance aren't married yet. That's the only thing I can think of. It's good to know that I haven't been missing out though.

There is a third one, it's called the Working Families supplement or something like that. It's the one where they mail you the application form that has ducks on the top of it.

Thats the one I thought they were fazing out?

They might be filing her as single, if she filed her taxes seperate then thats why. I hope she doesn't get caught if thats the case, she might end up having to pay a ton of money.

I dont get much because Chad works pretty hard at his job, which means a lot of OT.

If I filed by myself Id get the full amount lol! Damn marriage, heheheeh just kidding we filed together before we were married as well.

2:Ontario child Benefit for Ontario ( end of Month)
3:Supplement for working families (end of month)
4: Universal Tax credit up to 6yrs I believe ( once a year I think)

Why do they have to base everything on income
    I've never gotten it either

But in the same breath thats something we could really use since the reason why im not working right now is because daycare is too much money it makes it not even worthwhile for me to work full time.

Pretty sad, if you make over $33,000 (which most 2 parent families do - and even a lot of single parent families do too), you don't qualify ....

lol yeah I didn't claim with hubby this year cause we hadn't lived together a year and all I got was $12 a month for this and I make over $33,000 hmm. This one comes at the very last day of the month so that probably wouldn't be it.

There is the $100 payment that comes on the 20th with the baby bonus for children under 7... I forget what it is called but CTB and this one come on the same day...

Thanks for all the info, this has been driving me up the wall!

My friend must have been looked as as a single mom, she makes less than the cut off, but her bf makes more than enough for the two of them that she doesn't even need to work. Hopefully the government won't figure it out.
