I'd like to start this thread to help new SC traders! I hope other high rated traders will help me, and supplement this story with new details. I'm getting many messages from new traders with different questions, in this article I'll try to answer ones I was asked many times.
I also was a new trader just less that an year ago... and I remember how difficult it was starting and understanding all these trades. Thanks Thumpersmom and Lyn2005 !

    So, your first steps....

All our trades start in Canadian Coupons Trading & Discussion section. If you'd like to trade with someone just simply send this person PM (using Send PM button). In PM clearly indicate what coupons you'd like to trade and what you can offer instead. Also, it's better if you do not put your offers in the thread...cause sometimes traders didn't notice these posts and just were bumping their own threads without reading them.

Be ready that you wouldn't get the answer at the same moment, sometimes it can be within 48 hours.

Also before you get a good trade rating some people could ask you to send your part of trade first. It's a regular practice.

When you get your trade do not forget to rate the person you traded with.

To do it, in your Private Messages Folder, you can find any of the messages sent by this person, open it and under the nickname you'll see : Trade Rating: (97). If you click on the number you'll be redirected to the trader feedback page. Than click on Submit Feedback for and you're on the necessary page :

From the drop-down menu choose :

You were the: (Choose) Coupon Train Passenger, Coupon Train Conductor ,
    Trade

Overall experience: (Choose) Positive (+1) Neutral (-0-) Negative (-1)

A short comment: Visible to all

Note: 80 characters max & no HTML/Smilies/vBcode Deal thread URL:
    Optional
    ex: http://www.site.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1234

    Additional comments:
Visible to Train passenger, Train conductor, and staff only

    Submit reply.

You can also find this person nickname using search the forum engine. Open any of his or her threads click on the nickname and from the drop-down menu choose View Public Profile and you'll open this person home page. Click on the arrow sign and choose feedback. Than click on View all feedbacks for.....than as I described above.

With this being said...Should these people not change their posts to the correct term then? I still seeing it being misrepresent all the time. ON SALE is NOT a FPC.

Sorry i had to let it out.

I have another tip for the newbies

Look around when shopping for coupons, you shouldn't have to pay for them!

A few people will ask you for a GC, many others will trade for another coupon or just give it to you
