I've frozen milk whenever I happen to have unopened bags and will be away for an extended period. I've never had a problem with it once thawed. I do thaw out the frozen milk bag in a sink filled with enough cold water to cover the bag, shake it around as it thaws, and put in fridge once the majority of the milk has thawed. I'm sure you could just thaw it out directly in the fridge but this method works for me so I've just stuck to it.
Too bad milk is never on clearance or reduced around here!

Frozen milk? Great idea. Maybe I should try it. Can I frozen the milk plastic container? or I have to transfer the milk to something else?

If you're freezing it in the plastic jug you need to open it and pour our about a cup of milk first, otherwise it won't have room to expand when it freezes. Other than that you can freeze it in the jug no problem. If you're freezing it in bags or in a carton just put them in the freezer, as is.

Wow, the things I learn from this forum. I didn't know that you can freeze milk. So creative with your shopping finds. I'm not like that. Have so much to learn!
