The Bay vs. Costco - Almost 50% difference in Price!

I have a Phillips (men) Razor on my wedding registry and its listed as 299.99 at the Bay, sometimes these go on sale for 15% off.

I went to homeoutfitters and zellers last night and both of these places have the identical razor for 199.99 regular price.

Then i was at costco on lunch today and its only 169.99, almost 50% off from the bay...

How can the bay overcharge so much?

yea the bay has always been grossly over priced, i dont know why anyone shops there honestly

i know! sometimes they have a really really good sale (usually on clearance or discontinued items), other than that for home items, they do seem to be overpriced!

I agree on the Bay. I used to work next to one and I'd pop in all the time and sometimes find a great bargain marked down. But regular price, no way I'd buy anything in there.

The Bay does price match. If you have SPC, that's another 10% off. And there are stunning deals to be found in the clearance sections, though you have to look for them.

Yuck, I do not like the Bay either. They are so expensive and I find a lot of their kitchenware, towels, etc nice but you can find something almost identical at Zeller's for much less. Oh and their customer service is sad and the store is always such a mess!

Yeah, the Bay's prices always seem to be way too high. Some good deals when they are on sale, but I'd rather wait for them to go on sale at other stores.
