I was at WM earlier and found the Crest Pro-Health mouthwash with a bonus Pro-health toothpaste. I tried to use coupons I had for both, but was told I was only paying for the mouthwash, since the toothpaste was a "bonus", and could only use the coupon for that. I'm pretty sure I've done what I was trying to do before with success, but wasn't 100% sure so I didn't argue. Should I have been able to use both, or just the one like she said?

If to say the truth, cashier was right! It's a bonus pack where you got toothpaste for no charge. Another situation when you're buying the bonus pack for example with three things inside, you pay for two, and get the third one for no charge. But even in this case I was told I could use only one coupon, cause this pack has one UPC: One UPC - One Coupon!

I would tend to agree with the cashier.
I was at WM and wanted to get a bottle of Dove shampoo PMing to NoFrills sale price. I have a $1.50 coupon and figured it was worth putting it toward a bottle priced $2.97. In this case I happened to find a bottle of shampoo that had a bonus full sized bottle hairspray. The cashier let me use the coupon because it was for any 1 bottle of Dove hair product and I was in fact paying for 1 bottle of Dove hair product. I didn't ask because I only had 1 coupon but based on the cashier's comment I'd assume that I would not have been able to use 2 coupons as there was only 1 UPC and essentially the store would end up trying to get reimbursed for more items than what they actually sold.

Again - it all depends on the cashier.
If you get one nice, everything goes. If not-than they'll come up with all the answers to questions we did not even ask.
