Hi,
I am new to couponing and have a question for my fellow couponers in Regina. I went to Extra Foods at the Golden Mile last night and found Brilliant Brunette (John Freida) shampoo and Biore face cleanser on clearance (little pink stickers, yeah!). However, when I tried to use my $5 WUB2 coupons on these items I was told (kind of rudely by the CSM) that I couldn't use a coupon on clearance items. I phoned the manager this morning and he said that is a Extra Foods wide policy not just at this store. However, I often see brags on here about people using coupons with Loblaws clearance. So, I was wondering if anyone has ever done that here in Regina and if so, at what store?
Thanks!
P.S. There were about 20 of the Biore items on the clearance and they have been there since January so I would have thought they would be happy to get rid of 2

that's strange! at RCSS (Loblaws also) if it has a pink sticker it is clearance but coupons can still be used.
If I were you I would print out the Loblaws coupon policy and take it in with you (it can be found on SC). I think what they are confused with is the "cannot be combined with any other offer" wording, but that shouldn't include pink stickers in my opinion (because it doesn't at other Loblaws stores). I have come home with pink sticker items myself and used coupons to get them super cheap!

Hi, I am in Yorkton, and am an avid" couponer" and deal hunter. I have a question about the Sobeys coupons. I have heard this before about Sobeys having coupons, but where oh where are they?? I went through the entire store one evening just browsing for coupons and the only one I found was .25 off carnation milk! They were hanging off the edge of the shelf. I even looked for a "coupon area" that maybe I overlooked before.
Thanks!

I find a lot in the bakery/meat department where they are often displaying a few dry/canned goods that have current coupons (this is in Regina). There are usually some by the pet food and whenever they have someone handing out samples, there is always coupons there as well.

I typically have no problems stacking at LD here, however last night I ran into trouble. I was allowed to stack for Tide (used all three of the dif tide coups w no problem, plus brandsaver), Colgate Pro Sensitive, and 2 Old Spice body wash; I was not allowed to stack for cover girl.
My cashier was nice and sweet but she had a question about my coupons and asked the "sales supervisor" who was on another till. She said I was not allowed to use two brandsaver coupons on the same item. I was trying to buy two CG lash blast and use:
$3 WUB 2 CG
2 x $1 off CG
The supervisor was really rude and when I asked about the coupon stacking policy she said, "I know the rules. I work here," while rolling her eyes and giving major attitude. She said the coupons are one per item. But she watched the rest of the transaction and said the other stacks were fine. I left confused and upset.
I am going to write a letter and complain about her attitude and ask about the coupons. Anyone else have issues lately?

Today at the Co-op I found a few tear pads; .50 on any VH steamers, .50 on any Coolision Yogurt pack,.50 on any Shake and Bake and 1.00 on any any Old Spice product. Also noticed that they have blowout sales, something new, watch for a little tag hanging off items on the shelves, that says" blow out" price. Often priced at more than half off.Very similiar to what Sobeys does.

LD on 8th st has nivea cream on sale for 7.19
I used the 2 off tear pad and the printable 5off and got it for 19 + tax
also motrin cold and sinus tablets free + tax using the printable 3 off and the 5 off
cashier was really good today and had no problem using all my coupons 64 dollars worth and oop 10.01. she's starting to get use to me coming in and using my coupons. She has a problem if you are shelf clearing an item but if you are just getting different items per coupon stack at a time she seems to be okay, but she did let me get two nivea cream when I asked if she would be okay with it. I have not seen a change in the coupon policy except that they seem more accepting of the coupons.
I was at LD at Lawson on the weekend and they seem to be better at handling the coupons than at 8th st, ($98 worth of coupons) The cashier there told me that it was in the stores best interest to accept coupons because they get a handling fee for them, when they send them in. I have had better luck with LD cashiers than with walmart or zellers cashiers.

Does anyone ever use coupons at Coop? Do they offer anything special, like a double coupons day? I think I read about that somewhere on SC....... a long time ago and my memory isn't that good!
