We start our mini-contests with the last year's favourite style mini contest! The 1000th poster wins

However there's a new twist to this mini contest! Unlike last year you can't just post jibberish . This thread will be a place where we share savings ideas. Share ways we can save money at home, shopping, and in every part of our life.

Not every reply has to contain a new tip... you might like someone's idea and acknowledge that or whatever.. so it should be chats style... but the overall theme of the thread has to be savings!

if you have a LD nearby, bring other flyers there to price match, and then stack coupons!!

don't run your furnace during the day in the spring weather

instead open windows at opposite ends of the house to create a cross breeze
