Shopper’s Drug Mart – Not in photos
After much review reading on cnet.com and opinions from peeps I know, I decided on the Canon Powershot A1000. Best bang for my buck! Sale $149.99 . Brought my Mom in with me, however senior’s don’t get 20% on sale items so I didn’t get a further discount on the camera, however because the total was more than $50, my Mom got 2 booklets of 10 stamps ($10.60 value). Since it was my money and my camera, she gave the stamps to me…she so sweet! (I got her something in return…if you read later in London Drugs listing, I bought her the new “Company’s Coming” cookbook Catch of the Day). So not only did I get a new digital camera, 2 sets of stamps free, I got a free Hello magazine because I purchased the dove go fresh body mist and deodorant for $3.49 each minus - $3.50 coupon. WooHoo!
I paid for the camera with $150 GC I purchased on the weekend so I got 1500 reg points for that also. On today’s receipt, I received total of 43,340 Optimum points! That’s $75 regular redemption!
My receipt says:
Reg Points 1620
Product Bonus Pts 20860
Department Bonus Pts 20860
Total Earned today 43340 WOOHOO!!
<o:p></o:p>
So that $180 camera cost me $150 (plus tax) -$10stamps-$75redemption points = about $65!! And my bro wants to buy my current digital camera for $40! The battery on that camera is worth about $100…so ya he’s getting a good deal too!

London Drugs Canvas bags $1 each I got 4 but he said he only would charge me for 2 of them…RIGHT ARM! BTW these are the most durable canvas shopping bags I’ve come across, way way better than the ones from Safeway or RCSS!
<o:p></o:p>
I also bought my Mom a cookbook…Company’s Coming came out with a seafood recipe book. My mom has been saying for years she wished they would do a seafood book, so when I saw ‘Catch of the Day’ and it was 20% off, I had to get it for her. This thread is currently associated with: Air Miles, Extra Foods, London Drugs, Microsoft, Olay, Pharmaprix, Real Canadian Superstore RCSS, Safeway, Shoppers Drug Mart, The Bay, Walmart, ZellersLast edited by jojos_n_kelowna; Sun, May 3rd, 2009 at 11:19 AM.

Great job! But I hate to break it to you but thats the second seafood book of CC, they have another one called Fish and Seafood. It came out in 96 or 97 I believe so you might have a hard time finding it in the stores but if you sign up for the CC newsletter they are always having deals, so you might want to keep your eyes open for that one.
But ya wow! I haven't posted my brags yet, but they have nothing on you! I'm gonna keep reading your posts and learn from the master!

Imagine, you joined SC in January!! Can you believe our freakin' good luck? I don't know about you but I didn't use coupons before, what the heck was I thinking?
That's quite a load by the way. You must be running out of room at home. I'm thinking of putting "OPEN AT YOU OWN RISK" signs on all my closet doors now.
Maybe I can get Mr. Clean to come and help me with my closets do you think I can get him to come out?
