You can use a B1G1 coupon with a B1G1 sale and the item ends up being free. Trust me, I have done it before.
It's hard to explain but just go hand over your coupons at Rexall and you will see that you are only charged taxes because the item ends up being free after their sale and your coupon. If they try to tell you that you can't use the coupon because the sale is already B1G1, remind them that they will be reimbursed for the one you are getting free when they send the coupons to the manuf.
