So I think we are going to be having 2 new members shortly! While I was doing my weekly London Drugs coupon stacking shop, my cashiers (yes 2 of them!) were so impressed they wanted to know all about SC! I gave them the scoop plus wrote down the website address! And for their positive attitudes and helpfulness, I gave them each about 10 coupons which included a Glade any BOGO, stackable coupons with any Windex, Pledge or Scrubbing Bubbles, the B2 Vim get Sponge Towels, and a few others.
Another funny thing that happened today at LD, while I was checking out at the CS Desk, two ladies were behind me waiting just at the end and they saw how much I had saved with my coupons and heard the cashier say to the other 'Look she saved $81.27 in coupons!!!'. Anyway one of the ladies behind me, asked if I would be interested in teaching a class for her 'Life Styles' program she puts on with the local Aboriginal band!! That was such a nice compliment to even think others would be interested in learning about couponing. She asked if I had a business card! Hmm maybe she's onto something....she gave me her phone number and I said I would call her after the weekend!
My best deal of today, you will see in the photos, are these adorable baby/toddler ducky bath sets. They include a hooded bath robe, a pair of slippers and a bath scrunchie all with a duckie on them! They were on clearance for $1.00 each!! They CS person was just marking them down, she said they were regular $14.99! I bought 5 of them for $5 saving about $69.95! Unbelievable..I'm taking them in tomorrow to the Single Mother's foodbank with the Nestle backpack, Nestle formula and bottle, with another 3 cans of formula (Similac and Enfamil).
Second best deal, were these Asquith & Somerset scented tea light candles with candle holder in a beautiful tin. Also being marked down by the CS person from $9.99 to $1.00! Savings of $44.95. These are going in the 5 gift bags I put together for donation to the Single Mother's foodbank as Mother's day gifts for 5 moms. See pics of the gift bags below.
So what did I save today? Hmmm...LOL...alot!
Here's a summary:
I saved $94.02 just in coupons
Cost before taxes: $155.27
Paid: $61.25 plus tax
Total cost of all items at regular price: $339.71
So my true savings is: $270.48
Many of the items I purchase today are for the 5 gift bags for Mom's Day. Together with other items from my own stash, I am happy to be able to share with single moms who's kids may be very young, and the moms may not have a partner to give them a gift of recognition for Mother's day.
Picture one is of all the items I bought today.

Wow, you did great! My trips to LD are never that good. I see you got your straws from WM. Just got to get a cashier that isn't so fussy.

Exactly...the other time I tried to use the straws $2 on 2 of them, it was a no go...the cashier this time didn't notice this so I just kept my mouth shut. She also allowed me to use the $2 Garnier Fructis on the travel size hairspray $1.46 (after calling the cashier supervisor) when they haven't let me use it before. They are so inconsistent, and WM hasn't responded to my email from weeks ago asking for clarification on their policy in those situations. Also they wouldn't allow me to use the Gillette Fusion $5 off the Teen pack for guys which others have been able to use. Oh well, I'll try again on that one another day...LOL persistence pays off most of the time!

You really saved alot of money, good for you and the recipients of the beautiful, generous, gift bags. Giving mothers day presents to moms that otherwise would not receive, is a wonderful idea.
