CFL lightbulbs 6 for $0.24 - Ontario

RCSS has a 6 light bulbs box on sale for $4.24. Those equal to 60W.
I used the $4.00 coupon, got them for $0.24 Ontario only...

What brand are the bulbs?

Hi all,

I went to RCSS in Mississauga and looked at all the bulbs but couldn't find the 6 bulbs for $4.24 :shrug:

Can someone tell me whats the name of these bulbs?

Try Zellers!

I used these $4 coupons at Zellers today for the Energy Star (CFL) bulbs. They've got a lot of single bulbs there for $3.47, and I've been lucky - every time I use a $4 coupon on a $3.47 bulb, they don't say anything. I end up making $0.53! Wuuhuu! :shock:

That being said, I have also used the $4 coupon for a 2-pack of Energy Star bulbs at Wal-Mart, on sale for $3.96, and the cashier punched in the coupon for $3.96, even though it was a $4 coupon because it was the full price of the lightbulbs.

I have always found stacks of these coupons in the lightbulb aisle, just in case you're unable to print from the internet. They're big, and green and well... hanging with the lightbulbs!!

Either way, these $4 coupons are great. You can get lots of bulbs for free, they're great for the environment and they've cut my energy bill considerably over the 5 years that I've been using them. The coupons expire on May 22 though (a week from today, Friday), so get moving, ladies! :top:

You are lucky.. on the back of the coupon it states its only valid for items that are over $4.00 before taxes. I guess your cashiers didnt get that far.. (or perhaps they are different coupns?)

Technically, these coupons are for "specialty" lamps, and not just the regular twisty lamps.

Specialty ones are lamps such as chandelier, vanity, coloured, etc.

But it sounds like many folks are using them on twisties with no problems.

My Zellers in town wouldn't let me use them for the single bulbs that are 3.97 each :( I'm gonna check RCSS though sometime this week and see if they have some, thanks for the post!

The Supercentre at Highland and FisherHallman has the lightbulbs. I had trouble finding them as well. If you stand and look at the milk they are on a movable cart to the left of the milk on the bottom shelf. I was there today and they still had tons of them. Marked down from $13.99 to $4.24 and $4 off coupons...What a deal!!!!

Yeah, they have to come do any override. They did that with me too. Anything over $10 in coupons they have to have someone come and override it. There was a lady behind me in the checkout with lightbulbs as well. She didn't have any coupons so I gave her some of the $4 off ones. I told the supervisor that she should just stay cause the lady will need her coupons put in as well. We all had a big laugh and the cashiers were amazed at the money I saved....I think I will check back tomorrow and see if there are any left.......Walmart at Fairview and in Brantford as well as Canadian Tire at Sunrise still have coupons if anyone needs more...ends Friday!!!
