    I'm considering it.

I called Sharkey's - they charge $17.99. I dropped by Skybox, they charge $15.xx. Rates for the little bit of hair my one year old has. Freakin' ridiculous. I haven't checked any other places yet.

Nah...I can't cut hair.haha. I bring my son to Melon Head. I love it for him since it's just for kids and they play movies and let them play with toys while they get their hair done. Also, the first time we went in for his FIRST hair cut they took a before picture and kept some of the hair and put it in a baggie and put it on a certifcate. It was cute <3 I love the place.

Up here there is no "kids cut" So it's like $20 to get my son's head shaved and like $25+ for my daughter's hair cuts! So one day I decided to trim my daughter's bangs. That is now know in our house as the Great Hair Disaster of 09! I am no longer allowed near my kids with scissors! I've just come to accept the fact that it's a cost I am just going to have to suck up and deal with.

You might be surprised if you take your little one in. I have three kids, two girls and a boy. 5, 3 and 1. I've taken them to a couple of different places and usually am charged no more than $10 to have both the girls hair trimmed. Last time I went to get their hair cut, my one yr old had his first trim, my 5 yr old had a trim and my 3 yr old had her bangs cut and they charged me $5 total!
I've found cute little kids get deals on their hair cuts! :lol

I cut my daughters hair because she is 2 and still afraid to go to a salon. My son is 5 and we take him to the barber now. We have had his hair cut at walmart and received a "first haircut certificate" We have taken him to several haircutting places in town and the cost is usually $12 to $15 including tip

bowl is only 1.25 at dollarama in fact you probably have one in your cupboard. its only hair if you mess up a cut or 2 don't stress, it grows back so you can try again, and again by the time you get good at it they will be old enough to care.

I like the buzzed look too, but if you DIY please make sure you get all the hair.
