Where to buy Powerbar Gel and/or GU Power?

Hi canucks,

Does someone know where we can buy PowerBar Gels, GU Energy Gel or Clif Shot (or similar products) at a good price?

The Running Room:
- GU Energy Gel: 2.39$ or 53.99$/24 (2.25$)
- GU Roctane Ultra Endurance Energy Gel: 3.99$
- Clif Shot: 1.49$ or 31.99$/24 (1.33$)
- PowerBar Gel: 1.79$ or 39.99$/24 (1.66$)

MEC: sligthly better prices individually, but don't have boxes.

Costco: not found in canada

Better if around Ottawa or Montreal

Shipping is a flat $10 anywhere in Canada and is free if your order is over $200. It might be worthwhile to check up on them and see if the brands you like go on sale and then buy in bulk.

Here's a trick a friend gave me (I'll try it this week).

Go to a store that sells these items and ask them if they have boxes (or individuals) that are near or past the expiration date. Since they can't sell expired items, they usually are happy to get rim of them :)

Items 1 year old are still good and effective, so don't be scared.
