We've been camping for the past two days, not eating healthy at all! Burgers and Grill Ems over an open fire, when it wasn't raining. Among other things, we went tidal bore rafting, which was awesome. Tomorrow we''re off again, no tent this time, cabin! Too hot to cook tonight, cold salads.

Fish and Chips, again with the take out but I was not about to cook been fighting a massive sinus headache for 2 days and mom has spend the day decorating a cake. Hope there is some icing left over for dessert tonight as I see there is a an extra baby cake on the counter.

look out arteries, here comes the fat.I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

I just got back from visiting the family in Calgary. I should be serving nothing but lettuce to make up for all the rich, high calorie food that was consumed this past week...but I think the family would have an issue with that.
Last night, we had bbq ribs, rice and kale. Spinach salad on the side.

Yesterday I made a bowl of low-fat vegie macaroni salad. Instead of a ton of mayo, it uses cottage cheese and low fat mayo creamed in a blender, plus fresh seasonings. I got the recipe out of the Moosewood Low-Fat cookbook. Will have to try more from that book. Not for meat glutons!

I made Vietnamese salad rolls for dinner. Wanted something light and refreshing, nothing to be eaten warm as it's too hot and humid.
Then had ice cream.
