Last night DH and I went out for South Indian vegetarian cuisine-we used to do volunteer work there many years ago so it always brings back good memories.

I am also roasting a half chicken for DH and I-serving with perogies and veggies. Too flipping cold to put it on the BBQ!

Tonight my goal is to make a Stir Fry. I am thinking Egg Roll Stir Fry with Ground Pork, Napa Cabbage and various veggies served over Rice.

..ground beef was on sale yesterday so I picked up a bunch....today I'm making for the freezer to take to the cabin later, pre-formed hamburger patties ready to go on the bbq (or fry pan if the weather is too bad) and meatballs & a meatloaf....think I'll be having some of the meatloaf for supper
Going to make a homemade pasta sauce so pasta will be on the menu tomorrow night.
Leftovers tonight and whatever else I cook up from the freezer I am cleaning out. Youngest likes feast plates with bits of this and that. He is my Mikey!

..have chops thawing so will fry nice & crispy with mushroom & onions, rice and sautéed spinach
There is enough protein in the fridge now for a few dinners. Cooked up another one of those boneless blade roasts that I bought yesterday at NF...such a good sale on them. Made up the gravy using the " pan fried " flour that @Lynn49 had so generously sent me the method for at Christmas....I'll only make my gravies that way from now on!
Pan fried up 8 lovely Angus burgers, sauteed up a whack of caramelized onions and defrosted a ground chicken chili that was made in January. The guys are getting very good at adding whatever veggies they want when they make up their work meals but to steer them towards a healthier green I also grabbed 2 heads of .88 fresh broccoli at FB.
I am still the only person eating baby greens and salads daily..... but I blame WINTER, it drives my family straight to the carbs and comfort foods. DD made up a box of the Red Lobster Cheese biscuits yesterday and I swear she grated enough cheese for 2 boxes! ha ha

had to work late tonite, so hubby made chicken curry to go with the roti i bought
..getting ready soon to go to the cabin for the weekend...its going to be so much fun....I have lots of cooked food in the freezer ready to go so will decide...the meatballs I made earlier in the week will come in handy tomorrow evening for a big pot of spaghetti & meatballs :-).............have a great weekend everyone! :beer:
