I've been cooking out of the freezer this past week - time to use up the shrimp today!
After I cleaned three bags of them, I marinated them in garlic and soy sauce for the afternoon, then coated them in a light dusting of cornstarch and panfried them. Made a few pans simply seasoned, then a few on the peppery side for my husband. Served with oven fries, with raw green pepper for my husband and cucumber sticks for me.

Tonight for supper I cooked no yolk egg noodles, mixed veggies, and Schneider's kobosau (sp?) sausage. We each had a glass of milk. First time LO had this sausage and he loved it.

Dinner tonight will be the rest of the leftover stew i made the other day. The kids have been gone for more than 13 years now and i still cook for an army. You never get out of the habit.

Last night, we were packing late, so just had McD's.
Not sure whether I'll cook something for tonight - depends how the day goes. Most of the kitchen is packed up.

Zonny, we are just moving within the city. We are in a duplex, it was sold and the new owners are renovating to make an extra suite of the downstairs, so they weren't keeping renters. We found a little house to rent, so it's been hard work downsizing!

dinner is in the slowcooker. 2 lb cheap cut of beef, five potatoes, five carrots, two onions and a small turnip. Loads of spices. Nice to have dinner prep all done at ten in the morning
