i bought veggie samosas from a local restaurant 20 nice big pyramid shaped ones (slightly bigger than a tennis ball) for $12 and hubby made butter chicken.
Making a Noodle Bake with spagh sauce and lots of Mozza cheese.
corned beef and cabbage....so satisfying.
Pizza Hut chicken wings (that my daughter got from her friend at Olymel) and yellow string beans with potatoes and salad. I like using fresh dill in my salad and also i put stalks of dill and parsley when i boil new potatoes; gives them an extra umph!
last night i made Beef Liver with fried onions, mashed potatoes and a large green salad. This spring our town placed these large garden thingies all over the place and planted tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, parsley, strawberries, chives, basil, edible flowers, zucchini, things like that. And anyone is welcome to come and pick. So yesterday morning i went to some of them and picked up 3 cucumbers, 1 purple pepper and several cherry tomatoes and i put them all in the salad!
DH and I had a quiet dinner for 2. Walmart rotisserie chicken, zucchini fritters, side scoops of macaroni and potato salad. Three berry pie with french vanilla ice cream for dessert.
Lots off bbq's (when its not too windy!) and fresh salads from the garden. Its a bit breezy today so I'm experimenting with "keto" items in the air fryer. Onion rings, chicken bites, mozza sticks ( dredged in a mixture of almond flour & pork rinds! lol)

Last night I made Ceaser salad to go with the leftovers. Dinner done!
Last night we had Caprese Chicken with Rice. Original plan included added saute veggies to the rice and making a Salad but after day 4 of cleaning out our flooded basement the veggie portion did not happen.
Tonight we need to go out and buy supplies for our Basement, shelving to lift stuff off the floor, plastic bins to store stuff and a dehumidifier so we will probably just grab take-out on the way home
Last night was Hot Dogs and tonight im making Olivieri Tortolini with Oliviere Rose Sauce and garlic bread
leftover hodgepodge! Shared a plate of tomato wedges, baby cucumber slices and carrots. Leftover rotisserie chicken, sauteed garden green beans and zucchini fritters. A single glass of Kick Ass Sass white wine.
Last night we had Marinated Pork Brochettes with Salad Printaniere and Jasmine Rice and some fresh corn hubby picked up at a stand.
Tonight will be leftovers: rest of Pork brochettes, salad Printaniere, corn, garlic stuffed olives and some crudities with a simple dip (ketchup and Miracle Whip)
Cooked up a new batch of chicken satay late last night, then this morning added Basmati to the rice cooker and will serve with sides of garden fresh green beans and corn on the cob. Hoping for another Blue Jay win today against Cleveland...making their victories 3 out of the 4 games.
Tonight we'll make Homemade Chicken Tenders in the Air Fryer and will also cook up some frozen fries, still have limited access in the basement from the flooding so we have to get creative based on what we can access right now.
Its going to be hot, rainy & windy this evening so no chance to bbq...will probably just use the air fryer to make chicken wraps and a side salad! Happy Friday!
Caesar Salad and pork chops-and will maybe dig a few small spuds from the garden.
I made some frozen pork dumplings and they were surprisingly good.
Chicken Fried Rice ( Lots of onions and peppers to use up ) with fresh steamed wax and purple beans on the side,
Just prepping the bell peppers and sauteing the ground beef mixture. Stuffed peppers tonight!
^ Yummo!!! Its cool (+14) and rain for today so going to look through the freeze for a roast and make a roast beef supper
We used yesterday’s leftover roast chicken and turned them into wraps. Used cherry tomatoes and romaine lettuce from my garden too. Yum.
Today I am making a big pot of chicken tikka masala. Will freeze some for next week when my husband has surgery and I may be too busy to cook some days.
It was a weird middle of the night full turkey dinner for the 3 of us. Carb loaded and drowned in gravy but delicious! Followed by instant sleep.
Not sure when I'll eat next.....still groggy and it's after 3 p.m.
Thanks for the well wishes WOB!

Steak, mushrooms, French fries, and steamed California veggies.
We are mooring soon, so I haven’t brought meat in 1.5 months. We’re trying to eat down our medium sized chest freezer.
I kept 1 steak from the package that I used for last night’s supper. Tonight we’ll have steak/mushroom/veggie wraps.
A package of ground beef is thawing in the fridge, which I’ll cook up this weekend.
