Sounds delicious.
We had our Thanksgiving dinner yesterday.Hubby took me and the kids out tonight for my birthday. I had battered fish and chips. It was absolutely delicious- and so nice to not have to cook, lol.
Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving.

Today was our Thanksgiving meal - just the three of us:
Baked glazed hickory smoked ham (OMG it was a FAB ham - Our Compliments from Sobeys)
Cabbage Rolls
Roasted potatoes and carrots
Lots of sauteed onions to go over it all
Devilled eggs
Homemade pickled beets and cuc/onion bucket pickles
It was a smaller ham than we usually get, but still big. Our son made up meals for the week, lol! Plus I had made a little meatloaf for him yesterday, and gave him 1/2 a cantaloupe.
We have enough of everything left for us for a few days too.

Turkey, roasted garlic potatoes, stuffing and veg
Too much left over as its three of us this ur and the turkey was the smallest I could find. Carved everything.. Put the bones in bags for making stock later.. And froze half the meat for future as well. Last pic is of all the meat left after dinner .. I carved only half for dinner cuz it was harder than I thought ( my mom usually carved them) and then I carved the rest after dinner... Omg where did all this meat come
From..

frozen pizza.
well, we won't eat it frozen (LOL); I will heat it up in the oven. What I mean is, we're having pizza that isn't homemade but comes from a box in my grocer's freezer section. I'm feeling lazy today and utterly uninspired. Actually, it's not laziness so much as sickness and a "I don't care if we eat at all" kind of attitude. I needed a two hour nap just to recover from venturing out of the house to the store to buy the stupid pizza. Pffft."Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle

.. this evening dinner was a mesh-mash from Sobeys food bar, we had a bunch of different chinese food dishes, fried rice, egg rolls, sweet & sour chicken, some kind of pork dish and macaroni & cheese, macaroni salad, left over Mary Brown's (chicken and taters) I had 2 plates!! but then my cousin came by with turkey soup for everyone, fresh rolls, leftover pumpkin pie..I was so full already I couldn't eat any of that. Lots of leftovers for tomorrow!

^Oh, Crochetlady - hoping things get better for you SOON!
Tonight - whatever leftovers or anything in the fridge takes our fancy. Husband has meeting tonight, so I wasn't going to cook anything new (he doesn't like eating a big meal, then being parked at a church meeting!)
Just having a few cabbage rolls now.
