Tonight I'm thinking of making teriyaki salmon kabobs on the bbq, will put peppers and zucchini with the salmon. Might do a cold potato salad on the side as well.

Two kinds of leftover chicken, leftover potatoes, potato salad.

So funny to have an empty veggie crisper, don't know when that's happened before!

My DD and DS just inhaled a few Toaster Strudels, I watched them thinking " great! less work for me cuz now I won't have to make dinner because you both ruined any chance of actually having an appetite! " DH and I should really have some dinner salads with all the gorgeous home grown lettuce we have.

I picked up a cheap steak at RCSS - it was 30% off plus the pc deal of 200 points/$1 spent. So I sliced it thin and put it in a marinade of soy, sesame oil, and beef stock, and will be making a stir fry of some kind for dinner

So sorry KelJo, that's really rough. Hope everything works out OK.

... I am still cleaning up my messy kitchen from yesterdays makings of Turkey pot pies! I use phyllo pastry and had my girls helping me, made 28 Large [single serving] Turkey pot pies; didn't realize it was 12 a.m. when we finished- left the dishes for today, but feel great to fill the little freezer we have.

Tonight is a mystery as I am eating alone, I am hoping for something easy and simple. Pretty sure we have leftover portabello burgers in the fridge as well as some BBQ Roasted Potatoes so I think I will heat these up up for a quick and easy meal.

So there was a slight change in last nights dinner, originally it was teriyaki salmon kabobs but I really didn't feel like teriyaki so I whipped up a honey dijon marinade and oven cooked the salmon in that - OMG it was amazing, I will do that again for sure! Had new baby potatoes with it and roasted zucchini and peppers.
