It's either Lasagna with Cannellonie filling (which is cooking right now) or pork cutlets with MP and suffed peppers.

Today, we cooked a vegetarian vegetable soup, a veggie shepard pie (with ground round for added protein), and a tofu loaf (this is for dinner, the rest is for lunches and dinners all week).

Some sort of pork casserole thingee - odds and ends from cutting the cutlets yesterday, along with onions, mushrooms, green onion, green pepper, corn, and celery - have to decide on what type of sauce/gravy to make/use, though. Tempting to try one of the new Indian VH sauces, but I'm kinda scared to in case we don't like the taste... I was all brave about buying them when I had coupons to get them cheaply, but....
Ok, problem solved - I'm just going to make a mushroom gravy.
What a wonderful site VH has!!! Lots of ideas, combos, recipes, etc. So I see I have to (duh!) plan ahead of time to match the right cooking sauce to the right dish to cook - then that way I won't mess up flavours. Then we'll have some exciting new meals to try out on our palates!

Rice with steamed chicken and mushrooms, and pork bone soup.

Last night made ham, pyrogies in mushroom sauce, and cabbage rolls with a chocolate cake for dessert...was supposed to have a house full to feed, ended up being me, my 2 boys and MIL...FIL went home early not feeling well, my Dad and brother cancelled and didn't bother phoning, and DH got a fire department callout right before dinner...disappointing to say the least. So I am NOT cooking tonight. Leftovers.
