Since I was painting most of the day (ya, ya. I know I am STILL painting!) we went to Nikko's for some sushi :P:P:P:P It was super duper yummy!!!
Tonight I will have to do something with the chicken before it spoils.
Tonight for dinner I had snails or should I call them escargots, lol. Also a couple donairs with a donair kit I bought at walmart. Donair meat on a pita with donair sauce and diced tomatoes. :)
roasted chicken with all the fixins....
a peanut butter sandwich...yep...a peanut butter sandwich.
Tonight it is Harbie's bake potatoe soup and butter flaky buns I made at work today..
I don't know whats for dinner yet but I wish it was cold enough to have soup! and bake something.. I'm really craving potatoes. Maybe ice cream??
Actually if I could get it in THIS flavour...

I'd probably eat 10!
^^^ that sounds like peanut butter heaven.
tonight was dirty rice and a southwestern salad! yeehaw.
oh god I love southwestern salad. Did you make it yourself or was it a kit?
How did you cook the slugs, er, escargot? Or were they just canned ones - if so how or what did you eat them with? Or were they the type that come frozen in pastry? Do you like them?
I can't bring myself to try them. My son had the type in pastry at my sister's and just loved them.

For supper we had double smoked smokies, baked in the oven, pasta, beans, and coleslaw. Husband also added on leftover chicken and potatoes because he eats like a horse.
The snails came in their shells in a tin plate with garlic butter already to go from walmart. You just have to take the little tin plate and pop it in the oven at 300 for 12 mins. They were not bad and I thought ok for $5.00. :)
LIke this,lol.

gasjoc I am jealous! When are you going to bake me some buns :P
Tonight was smashed taters(with skins on) with Tillimook cheddar cheese and green onions(kinda like a baked potato), baked chicken breasts coated in parm cheese and panko crumbs :P and broc :P:P:P:P
Love the Dole kit cause the dressing ROCKS!! I wish I could buy just the dressing. I've made my own by taking the Renee's buttermilk ranch in the jar and adding a packet of taco seasoning, and it's really good. But it's still not as good as that darn Dole dressing:lolsign:
Fish, perogies, and peas.
Tonight will be the loaded chunky hashbrowns:P I have spicey Iltalian sausage to use this time :P:P:P
Chinese Hekka casserole (ground pork, onion, cabbage, carrots, mushrooms, peanuts, etc.) and rice. Aw, there's none left!
we had cajun chicken and veggies... with stroganoff yum it was good!
bf didn't like it though, not sure if it was the gluten free noodles or because he always mixes his food together but I'm sick of cooking for picky people!
had salsbury steak, gravy, french fries, and peas.
pitas
Ingredients
1/2 cup dried porcini mushrooms
1/2 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup boiling water
4 cups chicken stock
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 3/4 cups Arborio rice
salt and pepper to taste
fresh thyme, chopped
chopped fresh basil
Directions
Place dried mushrooms into a small bowl, and cover with hot water; soak 10 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon, and gently squeeze dry with paper towels. Chop mushrooms, and set aside.
Scoop cream of mushroom soup into a bowl, and gradually stir in boiling water until mixture is smooth but not runny.
In a saucepan over medium heat, bring the stock to a gentle simmer.
Heat butter and olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Stir in onion, garlic, and chopped mushrooms; cook about 3 minutes. Gradually stir in rice; cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly to coat rice with oil. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in thyme and basil to taste.
Pour in the mushroom soup mixture, stirring until absorbed. Gradually add 1/3 stock, stirring until liquid is absorbed. Continue to stir in stock gradually, 1 cup at a time, allowing the liquid to be absorbed before adding another cup. It should take about 20 minutes for all the stock to be absorbed and the rice becomes al dente (tender but firm to the bite).
Inside out cheeseburgers! And salad.
Crispy Fried Chicken and creamy mashed potatoes with gravy...yum

They were really easy to make. I got the recipe here http://www.eatingwell.com/recipes/in...eseburger.html
the only change I made was I used Marble Cheddar instead of the cheddar and gruyere.
