Taco Tuesday (for my son and me); Toonie Tuesday (for husband).
Last night was Denny's since DH insisted he get his FREE bday meal :P.
Tonight is a lazy night and I need to clean out the freezer so it loks like it's gonna be hot dogs and GG frozen brocoli ( I will thaw it first ;)) and whatever else is hiding in the freezer :O

Tonight bf and I are having rasted veggie and potatoe soup, turkey swiss melts and some sauted veggies
I made a turkey and spinach / arugula meatloaf for DH and I have bartha in the crock pot for me.
Hubby and i had beef ribs and cooked carrots, that's it.

Gosh, all of these sound good - I especially love when I have to google (e.g. 'bartha') - because I learn new things!
We're having perogies with onions and sour cream; along with some ham garlic sausage my sister brought from Edmonton - gosh it's yummy, it's the 'smokiest' kolbassa I've ever had!
we had swiss chalet hahah yum! bf's dad payed for it too... which was super nice :D

Here's a simple recipe i got from a member of the freecycletocafe group i belong to, if you have a sweet tooth you'll love this i'm sure:
take 1 or 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk, take labels off can/s, put unopened cans in a pot of water (do not open cans) bring water to the boil, turn heat down enough to simmer water, simmer for 3-4 hours (make sure water does not evaporate), take cans out of water, let cool, open and voila you have golden coloured toffee.

Left over turkey loaf for DH and I'm still deciding. I think I'll have some tomatoes on toast. We're both getting sick, so not much of an appetites.

Cubed roast with veggies, garlic, etc and stock, cream of mushroom soupo and spies. I plan to thicken the sauce and serve over rice :P Hope it tastes good :)
I'm going to concoct breakfast burritos lol. I have leftover sausage, meatloaf, green onions, chili sauce, cheese, sour cream, tortillas, and eggs. Why not? lol
I don't like to cook much. I'm a plain cooker.

we had thai express but looks like mine got contaminated somehow with some gluten and now my tummy hurts :(
awwwh :( I ate a few mentos today not realizing they had wheat in them and it made my tummy hurt.... but now your making me rethink ever ordering from them lol. I always go to edo japan it's just so easy.
I had some mushrooms, zucchini and spinach fried in garlic it was so yummy!!!
I have to admit defeat tonight, we ordered pizza, chicken wings, and fries, my hubby is the pizza lover, i'm the chicken lover, well this sort of thing doesn't happen very often for us.
