Spaghetti and sauce. That's all I was craving. Funny, had meat for the guys, but they went for just spaghetti as well!

Oh, I just was coming back to explain - realized after I posted that I didn't.
It's traditional where my husband's from - but over the years, I just make it the cheaper/lazy way now, lol! Instead of wrapping each in soured cabbage (which is pricey to buy), I just make up the meat rolls (ground pork, ground beef, onion, rice, spices), boil in water, add saurkraut, and tomato sauce and spices. It's very yummy!!!
Some people also put the meat mixture in peppers.

My husband's from the former Yugoslavia , but he's Ukrainian (actually, Rusyn - no, not Russian!). He's from Vojvodina - an area in Yugo just west of Romania and south of Hungary - his mom was from Hungary originally.
So yeah, wonderful Balkan recipes. I've just been looking up Chevapi and lepinja - eek!
