I love it, mechman47. MEAT!!! and something with it. That is exactly what DH would say if it were not taken for granted at this stage of our marriage. Hey...the man does not gamble, drink, do drugs, or fool around. He can have whatever meat in whatever quantities he wants for the rest of his life.
Cheers, I don't Gamble much...
I saved some of the cooked orzo from yesterday's salad, so going to make another salad for myself. Red pepper, green olives, onion, and spicy chili miso for this version.

Frozen pizza. May as well use it up
Trying a "ranch" steak from the local butcher shop.
I believe it is cut from inside round to look like a strip loin and mechanically tenderized.
A lot cheaper cut, so I will give it a try. Doing grilled veggies and orzo again.
Since the weekend, I've been eating queen olives, Stonemill potato salad and cheese slices most times. Olives are the Costco Kirkland branded ones-the queens are not as briny as Unico stuffed pimento olives. Also with the on/off heat, the salt helps to pep me up.
Last night's dinner included three toasted English muffins with butter (pats left over from someone's Tim's run), olives, potato salad and some Caramilk ice cream. Plus La Croix sparkling cran-raspberry water (chilled!)
Tonight-red leaf salad, cooked pasta or rice with ghost pepper sauce and an apple.
@walkonby -does your spice rack include smoked Portuguese paprika? I saw mention of it in June's Forever Young issue (about different families preparing turkeys) and am kind of keen to know if its milder than regular or Hungarian paprika. It might be worth the spend if the flavour adds some zip to meat. Mom often uses paprika in certain dishes but I'm not a huge fan of it.
we must have been on the same pork chop wave length @Mechman47 I crumb coated up a half dozen nice meaty thick chops this morning and baked them, then boiled up and sauteed a bag of perogies....you know, JUST in case there was not enough food already cooked up in the fridge.
Last night, I made kasha and had it with pieces of fried bacon and pickles - i prefer garlic dill but we only have yum time. Husband doesn't eat kasha, he had leftover liver and onions with the rest of the bacon.
Tonight was Taco Tuesday to go. He eats many, many soft ones, I had two hard and some mexifries. Will munch on the crustos over the next few days.
Grilled chicken, Asian noodle salad and grilled rapini
Oven pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and oven asparagus
...made extra spaghetti sauce yesterday so was planning on making lasagna today, but went to the grocery store and they had fresh mussels  so the sauce is in the freezer now for another time..
