I'll try it and see what happens,lol. You're just supposed to follow the instructions on the box as far as adding, eggs, oil,etc. Then you should be able to make fluffy pancakes. Not bad for a $1.00 box of betty crocker cake mix..;)

Baked onion-y pork chops; roasted potatoes, onions, carrots and celery.
Hubby's favorite: baked salmon, boiled potatoes tossed with evoo, steamed broccoli and carrots.
Since the rest of our kids do not like salmon, except for my 17 months DD, I will pan fry chopped chicken breasts with Italian seasoning for them.
fry breast chicken, cover with squash (grey kabocha) mash spiced with monarda flower and red clover sprout. All that cover with mozzarella cheese and put in the oven 30 minutes, broil 2 minutes.

Last night I made chicken schnitzel and it was soooo good! Tonight I'm making beef stroganoff. I'm trying to clear meat out of the freezer to make room for all of my Christmas baking!

I stir-fried some onion, peppers and chicken in piri-piri sauce and served with boiled rice.

Saturday was our Ukrainian Seniors' Home Christmas Yarmarok (like a bazaar), and I couldn't go, so sent my husband with a list.
My list: a kolach (specialty bread for Christmas), wheat (to make kutia, a Christmas dish), any baking which looked good, and a tree ornament.
BUT he came home with a big container of borscht (which we had today), three rings of our favourite sausage (the nuns import it from Mundare AB), three big packages of homemade noodles, a huge bag of perogies - either 3 or 4 dozen, and a big poppyseed roll.
Hm..... I couldn't 'complain', but it was kinda funny....
lol, send a man with a list, he comes home with his favorite treats....and no mild (in my case)....
we ate honey garlic chicken, basmati rice and broccoli, no leftovers tonight (must have been good!
just had a quick supper of pickled swedish herring, hard boiled egg, potato & sour cream.

i made a lasagna, caesar salad and buns. took my 3 year old an hour and a half to eat one itty bitty square of noodle with a touch of sauce. i didnt back down! *cheers*! AND SHE LIKED IT. victory.
I ended up making Mexican Lasagna and nickerdoodles for dessert :P. Oh and I made a side salad to be healthy ;)
Made a casserole with pieces of pork loinchops, onions, carrots, celery, with a mushroom sauce, served with rice made with french onion soup mix.
Tonight is our Christmas potluck at the school followed by the Christmas concert. I am making spinach and cheese cannelloni in tomato sauce (meat free) and sugar cookies. My 3 and 5 year old get to sing together this year! So excited, can't wait. :)
Last night was my bacon and mushroom fried rice with an addition of shredded brussels sprouts (SO good!!) and cream of broccoli soup with toasted bagels.
