I can't think of anything! Hubby has a craving for burgers just might have to do the fast food thing tonight.
Son was away for a fundraising dinner, so husband wanted KFC - able to use the $5 coupon from Dec., so it was a good, cheap meal.
Pork lion stuffed with prunes, apples and a bit of parsley with mashed taters and gravy :)
Kirkland cheese pizza & salad
Pyrohy for supper tonight.
Natalka what's pyrophy ?forgive my ignorance:icon_scratch:
maybe spelled wrong , well typo really, perogies I believe but the Polish way might be
pyroghy or something/
grilled cheese and chicken noodle soup. had mc'ds for lunch.
toasted bagle with tuna salad and a glass of milk
I had a sichuan hot pot. It's really spicy, but really yummy. I'm growing pimples left and right. :)
pea and ham soup. spice cake dessert.
Hubby wanted salmon, so I baked that, rainbow trout for the kiddies, baked potato and steamed asparagus.
Pork chop(BBQ), mashed potates, carrots(BBQ) & salad last evening
Ah, I used the transliteration of the Ukrainian word - pyrohy. The Polish word is more common - perogies or pierogies.
Actually the 'proper' Ukrainian word for them should be varenyky, since the way we make them is boiled/fried. The word pyrohy comes from the word 'to bake', and I don't make that kind.

They are basically dumplings - most cultures have some version similar.
Most common fillings are potato with cheese and/or onions; dry cottage cheese and dill; variety of fruits/berries.
Here's a good basic explanation of how they are made

Hmmmm good....last night I mad Osso Bucco for supper. I haven't made it in forever as veal shank is so very expensive these days. I forgot how good it was. I made it and served it with mashed potatoes (to soak up all that wonderful gravy) and broccoli.
Todays dinner is going to be Coq au Vin, I just have to run out and pick up some brandy. This is one of the easiest meals I have ever made, and it's so delish, but need to serve it with mashed potatoes again :P which is great as they are one of my favorites. So tonights dinner will be Coq au Vin, mashed potatoes with chives and roasted cauliflower and asperagus.
I have been spending a lot more time cooking this winter, probably cause I'm bored and can't get out to often. Whats better for the soul than food anyways :lolsign:
Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, peas-left over from Christmas. Frozen a meal worth & will eat it at work.
Rice, homemade teriyaki chicken, butter chicken using vh sauce, steamed broccoli.
My EDD is today, no baby yet, so i'll keep cooking. Lol!
Not a Name for it but chicken breast cooked with cream of chicken and cheese cut it up and serve on egg noodles
Crockpot pulled pork, rice and Brussels sprouts.
5 cheese pasta casserole thingy. I basically just follow my lasagna recipe using shells instead of lasagna noodles. I made a big one for supper and two smaller ones to freeze for another day. Served with warm fresh buns and salad. mmmm :)
EVERYTIME I want subway, it storms. Craving subway earlier, I tell my mom and she tells me it's supposed to storm today.
Guess what, went out anyways! This is like the third or fourth time!!!
So I had a subway BLT on italian herbs and cheese. Lots o' lettuce, onions and olives.. and lots o' mayo
ham, mushroom and cheese omlette and toast.
making stove top chicken thighs
seasoned and marinated chicken for 24 hrs
and used left over ww and ragu sauce.
Always have to make a good meal when Kids go back to school(from summer break, Christmas ect) so it is Roast Beef Mashed Potatoes and Corn tonight!
wow that is freaky! DH JUST said to me, hey let's have a nice meat, tater, veg sit down dinner to celebrate DD going back to school tomorrow.
I thought I always served nice meals, but he meant, no casseroles, no one bowl meals, he wanted separate things on his plate.
And so it goes, It will be baked salmon for us 3 ( Jane's Chicken pub strips for her), baked potato, and steamed savoy cabbage. Maybe another veg, we'll see.
Pulled pork sammy's and a garden salad.
My mom invited people over, so it should be fun
ETA : I was talking to my friend about looking for a pulled pork recipe, and she said her gramma had one. My friend lived in New Orleans pre-katrina and now in virginia, so it's a true southern recipe. She sent it to me and that's what we're making. My mom wants to put the recipe in her safe after
